// FAQ
Are no-KYC crypto cards legal to use?
Using one is not illegal in most jurisdictions, but the providers themselves operate outside regulated EMI/bank frameworks - that is exactly how they can skip KYC. Your funds sit with an unregulated counterparty: no deposit insurance, no ombudsman, little recourse if the service vanishes.
What happens to my privacy without KYC?
You avoid handing your ID to the card issuer, but every card transaction still passes Visa/Mastercard and the BIN sponsor - purchase metadata is not anonymous. No-KYC protects you from identity collection, not from transaction records.
Can a no-KYC card still freeze my balance?
Yes - and with no regulator to complain to. Cards freeze balances on fraud-pattern triggers, AML flags from the BIN sponsor, or operator insolvency. Keep only what you plan to spend soon on any no-KYC card.
